Queen Alia International Airport, situated in Amman, Jordan, serves as the country’s primary international gateway, connecting passengers to destinations across the Middle East and beyond. As the airport continues to upgrade its services and facilities to meet the growing demand of modern air travel, the 8000 4-Seater PU Seat Wooden Backrests (with Side Tables) by Kusch+Co exemplify the airport’s commitment to offering a high standard of comfort and design.
Designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, the 8000 series brings a new aesthetic design language to public seating, making it a perfect choice for airports, railway stations, and other busy public spaces.
The 8000 Bench Series stands out as a unique seating solution, blending engineering precision with striking design. Characterised by a minimalist and progressive aesthetic, the benches are crafted to provide both comfort and functionality.
The seats are upholstered with high-quality polyurethane (PU) foam, offering a fine-textured surface that is both comfortable and durable. Designed with flexibility in mind, the modular system allows the benches to be configured in rows of two to six seats, adapting easily to various layouts within public spaces.
The addition of side tables further enhances the functionality, providing passengers with an ideal space to relax, work, or unwind during their time at the airport.
Built to withstand the demands of high-traffic environments, the 8000 Bench Series is engineered for long-lasting durability. The benches feature a robust construction with a stable stretcher bar made from rectangular tubular steel, supported by aluminium die-cast pedestals and high-performance PU foam seating.
Designed to handle constant use, these benches are an excellent choice for busy environments like airports, where comfort and durability are paramount. The materials are also easy to clean and maintain, ensuring the benches remain hygienic and functional, even in the busiest of public spaces.
Kusch+Co’s dedication to sustainability and quality is reflected in the 8000 Bench Series, which adheres to rigorous environmental and quality standards. The bench’s design prioritises durability and recyclability, aligning with long-term environmental goals.
Its flame-retardant upholstery and high-quality components meet stringent fire safety regulations, including compliance with international standards such as DIN EN 16139 and EN 1021. Additionally, the series is manufactured to the highest quality standards, with Kusch+Co’s environmental management certified under DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 and quality management certified under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
