In 2012, Merimbula Airport in New South Wales sought to upgrade its seating arrangements. After seeing Alloyfold's successful installation at Gladstone Airport, Merimbula’s Operations Manager chose Alloyfold to supply 34 Schumann beam-mounted upholstered waiting seats.
The new seating not only replaced the previous single chairs but also improved passenger comfort and the overall aesthetic of the airport’s waiting areas.

Kusch+Co’s seating solutions transformed Berlin Brandenburg Airport’s Lounge Tegel and Lounge Tempelhof by balancing privacy and community spaces to meet the diverse needs of travelers. The lounges feature zones for reception, lounging, dining, and business meetings, with a design inspired by the historical features of the former Tegel and Tempelhof airports, blending continuity with modernity.
The Creva soft seating series offers both private and communal options, while Lupino, Volpe, and Sao Paulo seating further elevate the lounges' luxurious yet functional atmosphere.
