In 2013, Alloyfold supplied over 100 Chopin beam-mounted seats for Griffith Airport’s refurbishment.
The Griffith City Council wanted a seating solution that was both practical and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing passenger comfort and the overall airport experience.
Alloyfold’s Chopin seats, featuring configurations of 4 and 5 seats per beam, were selected to meet these needs in high-traffic areas.
The Chopin beam-mounted seats combine black PU foam padding for comfort and a chrome finish for a modern, sleek look. Designed for public spaces, the seats are constructed with cold-rolled perforated steel and aluminum, ensuring both strength and easy maintenance.
The Chopin system accommodates up to six people per beam, with 4 and 5-seater configurations strategically placed throughout the airport to optimize space.
With a five-year commercial warranty, these seats were built to withstand heavy use while maintaining comfort and style.
Alloyfold worked closely with the Griffith City Council’s Principal Planner to manage the procurement, delivery, and installation of the seating.
The project was executed on time and within budget, with over 100 seats delivered and installed without disrupting airport operations.
The successful collaboration resulted in a seating solution that met both functional and aesthetic requirements, enhancing the passenger experience at Griffith Airport.
