As one of the largest and most modern airports in the world, Daxing now features 3,700 seat units from Kusch+Co’s Studio F.A. Porsche-designed 8000 Series. This high-end seating system showcases the company’s dedication to quality and design, offering travelers comfort and style in one of the world’s most prestigious transportation hubs.

This project at Beijing Daxing adds to Kusch+Co’s extensive portfolio, which includes over 260 airport installations worldwide. The company continues to redefine public seating, setting the bar for functionality, comfort, and innovative design across a wide range of global airports.

Kusch+Co sets the standard for public seating with its high-end 8000 Series benches at Beijing Daxing International Airport, blending comfort, design, accessibility, and sustainability in harmony with the airport's groundbreaking architecture and serene lounges.

A Perfect Blend of Comfort and Design

The 8000 Series benches, upholstered in premium leather, enhance the serene "Tea Garden" and "Porcelain Garden" areas at Beijing Daxing. Inspired by ancient Chinese aesthetics, these benches combine comfort, clean lines, and modern luxury for a calming traveler experience.

The seating is available in a sophisticated palette of black, brown, navy blue, and light blue, further adding to their visual appeal.

Safety and Hygiene at the Forefront

Designed by the late Zaha Hadid, Beijing Daxing International Airport is an architectural masterpiece, inspired by the mythical Fenghuang. Its bird-like structure and five departure piers prioritise passenger convenience. Kusch+Co’s seating complements this visionary design, enhancing the "Tea Garden" and "Porcelain Garden" lounges.

The Black V-Travel 4-Seater Bench Lounges, with side tables, provide a stylish and practical space for travelers to relax in the airport's refined atmosphere.

Creating a Functional, Elegant Lounge Environment

Kusch+Co’s commitment to innovation includes a focus on sustainability. The 8000 Series is made with fire-resistant materials to meet global safety standards. The company prioritises eco-friendly production and recyclability, ensuring long-lasting and low-maintenance seating.

The 8000 4-Seater Bench with PRM seating features a back-to-back connection system, allowing for easy adjustments to accommodate passengers with reduced mobility. The PRM seats have a 4 cm higher seat height, stable armrests, and a uniform design, ensuring enhanced accessibility, comfort, and support. Additionally, the PRM seating can be easily assembled or retrofitted to meet accessibility needs.
